Well it rains a lot and it’s super humid all the time. We
had some really cool people appear at of nowhere.
We were knocking doors and we taught a little old lady who
accepted the challenge to be baptized and went to church on Sunday and has
already got an answer from her prayers, just needs to stop drinking coffee.
Also we were deceived by a women on the street who said the
following,
“I want to go back to your church and want to get baptized
and I want to baptize my daughter, what do I need to do?” Obviously we got
excited and invited her to church and everything. But later learned that she is
already baptized and tries to scam the church, asking for help financially. She
is involved in prostitution, drug trafficking and other crimes...apparently.
She has already scammed many other missionaries and we have been asked to not
visit her. Got to be careful.
But other than that we are working a lot, some baptisms are
coming and we are happy.
